Khloe Kardashian 'didn't want' to divorce Lamar

Los Angeles - Khloe Kardashian "never wanted" to divorce Lamar Odom.

The reality TV star put the couple's divorce on hold after he was left fighting for his life in October following a collapse in a Las Vegas brothel, and the star now feels her "role" in life is to help him get better.

She said: "I want Lamar to be happy with Lamar again, I want Lamar to fall in love with his life one more time.

"That's what I feel like is my role ... I never wanted a divorce to begin with, I never wanted him to spiral out of control."

Khloe shares with Us Weekly that she was in the middle of rushing the divorce, but withdrew it to make ‘life and death’ decisions for him. At the time, Lamar was hospitalised and incapacitated to make medical decisions.

Khloe married former basketball professional Lamar in September 2009 but filed for divorce four years later, and the star has since gone on to date French Montana and James Harden.

The 31-year-old beauty recently split from basketball player James, claiming he was unfaithful, and was recently linked to a reconciliation with rapper French, but insists that while they are friends they are unlikely to get back together.

Speaking on a new segment of her chat show 'Kocktails With Khloe', Konfronting The Rumor, on Wednesday, she added: ''I think once you let someone see your vagina, it's probably nice to still have a relationship with them.

"I'm still friends with French. We're cordial ... and yes, I did break up with James.

"Once you've had a certain type of love or respect from someone you won't settle for much less."
