Kim and Kanye are selling their house before they've even lived in it

Los Angeles - Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are selling their Bel-Air mansion.

The couple bought the sprawling home in Los Angeles for $9m in 2013 and spent $2m on renovations but never moved into the property.

Now, TMZ reports, they have decided to list the mansion for more than $20m.

Despite splurging on the Bel-Air property, Kim and Kanye then bought another palatial mansion in Hidden Hills, which they have decided to make their LA base.

The duo purchased the house, which features two swimming pools, a vineyard, eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, in August 2014 after getting tired of waiting for the extensive renovations on their Bel-Air home to be completed.

Earlier this year, they also bought a $2.925 million house next door to the property in case they want to expand their home further in the future.

And they are said to be desperate to show off their home in the prestigious Architectural Digest magazine.

A source close to the duo said: 'Kanye wants to show off the Hidden Hills mansion now that they've finished renovations. Kanye considers himself to have an eye for interior design and fashion, and wants to show off what he considers some of his greatest work, the mansion.

"Kanye thinks the house will influence a generation of how young, hip, urban couples with families will want to decorate their residences."

Kim also "wants to show off her over-the-top closet, and garage with their luxury cars".
