Kim, Kanye and the kids are still cooped up with Kris!

Los Angeles - Kris Jenner has joked she wanted to "kill" herself when she found out Kim Kardashian West and her husband Kanye West are planning to live with her for another four months.

The 60-year-old matriarch was told by her daughter she and her spouse - who welcomed their second child into the world on Saturday - would need to live with her for several months while extensive renovations are carried out on their lavish family abode and they will be with Kris until at least next spring.

Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Australian radio, the brunette beauty joked: "I wanted to kill myself. I just got off word from their contractors that they will be here until the end of March."

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star doesn't mind putting her loved ones up but she sometimes struggles to deal with the restricted space.

She added with a giggle: "It's not just them it's them and an entire situation, an entourage. So it makes it a little crowded over here sometimes."

Kim, 35, and 38-year-old Kanye - who already have two-year-old daughter North together - told the momager they would be moving into her Calabasas home earlier this year while they completely redo their mansion in Hidden Hills, California.

This isn't the first time Kim has asked her mum to take her family in while work is carried out on her home.

The curvaceous beauty spent a year living at Kris' house in Calabasas, California, in 2013 when she and Kanye, who got married in 2014, decided to completely refurbish their then-newly purchased $11m Bel Air mansion.

They later decided they didn't want to live in the area and sold the lavish property without completing the remodel.
