Kim Kardashian West's armed robbery is no laughing matter

Cape Town – News of Kim Kardashian West being held up in an armed robbery in Paris has caused a stir on Twitter.

Some have poked fun at the reality TV star making jokes about the incident.

While Kim is yet to release a statement about the life threatening ordeal, Paris police officials have said the robbery is under investigation.

The two officials confirmed Kim escaped unharmed and that an investigation was underway. They also revealed the robbers tied Kim up and locked her in the bathroom before escaping on bikes.
