Kris Jenner cuts holiday short to be with Rob

Los Angeles - Kris Jenner cut her holiday short to be with Rob Kardashian.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star reportedly took the first flight out of St. Barts when she heard her only son had been hospitalised and allegedly diagnosed with diabetes.

A source told PEOPLE magazine: "Rob had stomach problems over the weekend and didn't feel well. He was at the hospital briefly.

"He has to take medicine now to control his blood sugar level. He was also told he needs to rethink his whole lifestyle. He needs to see a dietitian and change the way he eats. If he doesn't change his lifestyle, he was told that it could have serious consequences."

TMZ reported a diabetic coma is a danger if the condition is left untreated but Rob has gotten the illness under control and is currently recuperating at home.

Meanwhile, Rob is said to have retreated further into himself and is refusing to see any friends or family.

A source said: "Rob does not want to see anyone and he has made that very clear to the whole family. He is not answering calls or returning anyone's text messages."

The only person Rob has seen is his sister Khloé, according to reports, as he lives with her.

Unsure about rehab

While Rob has apparently taken the diagnosis as something of a "wake up call", he is still unsure about the prospect of entering a rehabilitation facility - something his family are reportedly keen for him to do.

The source added to RadarOnline.com: "Of course Rob is scared right now and he should be. His health is the worst it has ever been and, diabetes aside, he has to overcome the mental health issues that seem to be at the centre of all of this.

"veryone is urging him to go to rehab, whether it be a physical rehabilitation rehab or a drug program.

"The kid needs help and if he does not get the help he will not be around to see 2017."
