Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney's #AfterSexSelfie on the cover of V magazine

Los Angeles - Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney posed naked for a post-sex selfie for V magazine.

The engaged couple appear completely nude in the publication's Spring Preview issue - which Gaga guest edited - with the singer wrapped around her fiance, who snapped the picture of them in a mirror, and she insisted it was his idea.

Lady Gaga wrote in her editor's letter: "We made love on the canvas on a Sunday in Chicago. We made love amidst terrorism. And we talked about how people's hearts are also suffering all over the world as they watch and witness a swell of violence. We made love amidst violence.

"During tumultuous times, we hope everyone in the world will see this and be reminded to love each other wildly, generously, totally, colorfully, without fear and with compassionate hearts. We made a galaxy of endless colors with only brief, black holes of emptiness that are then filled by each other."

Money raised from the Spring Preview issue will go to Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation.

Meanwhile, the couple got engaged last February after four years of dating, and Taylor admitted his fiancee has taken full control of their upcoming nuptials, but claims they still haven't set a date.

He said: "I could go to the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas but I think, well she's an Italian and that won't happen. She wants a nice big wedding so I'll let you know when we get a date."

The couple want to keep most of the details surrounding their big day a secret but are reported to be preparing to tie the knot at the Bad Romance hitmaker's $23m mansion in Malibu, California in December.
