Lana Del Rey obtains restraining order after Russian fans threaten her life

Los Angeles - Lana Del Rey has obtained a restraining order against two fans.

The Video Games hitmaker was reportedly left in fear of her life because of the obsessive behaviour of Nataliia Krinitsyna and Iuliia Vladimirovna, alleging the Russians had screamed her name in the middle of the night, and filled her mailbox with suicidal and threatening notes.

Things got so bad, Lana moved house but the two fans tracked her down and continued sleeping outside her home and shouting for her through the night.

As she was so convinced the two women would kill her, the 30-year-old star hired a full-time bodyguard and off duty Los Angeles police officers for protection.

The restraining order was granted and a Los Angeles judge ordered the two women to stay 100 yards away from the singer and her home, TMZ reports.

Just a month ago, a 19-year-old fan was arrested after he was discovered living in the garage of Lana's Malibu home, which is currently under construction.

Police said the man was "clearly infatuated" with the singer after discovering "rambling" notes he had written.

He was reported by a construction worker but had disappeared before police arrived, and officers eventually tracked him down and arrested him in nearby Santa Monica.
