Lionel Richie ‘scared to death’ about Sofia and Scott Disick’s relationship

Cape Town – Lionel Richie, like any father, is not entirely on board with his 19-year-old daughter’s relationship with a 34-year-old man.

In a brief interview with Us Weekly at the Idols auditions in New York on Wednesday the father-of-three expressed his shock at the news of Sofia Richie and Scott Disick's relationship.

He said: “Have I been in shock?! I'm the dad, come on.”

When ask if he is happy for the new couple, Lionel replied: “I’m scared to death, are you kidding me?”

Sofia and Scott – who has three children with ex-girlfreind Kourtney Kardashian – first sparked dating rumours in May but confirmed their relationship in September.

The loved-up couple have since been spotted canoodling while on numerous romantic getaways.
