Mariah Carey calls it quits with backup dancer

Cape Town – Five months after they started dating Mariah Carey has called it quits with her backup dancer beau Bryan Tanaka.

TMZ reports that the couple split because Bryan was jealous over Mariah's relationship with ex-husband Nick Cannon.

According to sources the last straw was when the pair attended the Kids' Choice Awards in March with their kids. 

He felt disrespected and even instructed Mariah to return home. 

In turn Mariah was sick of having to fund his lavish lifestyle and believes he was only seeking fame with their romance. 

Mariah and Bryan's whirlwind romance was documented in her reality show Mariah's World. (Read more here.)
