PICS: Khloe Kardashian makes first public appearance since pregnancy news

Cape Town – Khloe Kardashian attended her first public engagement since news that she is pregnant broke.

The 33-year-old – who is reportedly expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson – wore a plunging silky black kimono when attending an event celebrating the year anniversary of her denim brand, The Good American.

Khloe looked gorgeous and posed for photos with no sign of trying to hide a baby bump at Nordstrom in Century City, California on Saturday.

This comes after the reality TV star defended a photo she shared on Instagram, after people tried to point out that she had a baby bump in the comments.

According to Hello Giggles, Khloe shared a black and white image of herself with her arm in front of her stomach advertising a “leather-like” denim skirt for The Good American.

People were quick to point out that it looks like she is trying to hide a growing baby bump under the top.

But Khloe replied, saying: “This is a peplum shirt. It flairs out at the bottom. It’s just the way the shirt is designed. In some of the next pictures coming up from the SAME shoot, I’m in a crop top. Showing a lot of skin…”
