PICS: The leading ladies of Ghostbusters take over ELLE magazine

Cape Town – The cast of the new Ghostbusters movie took over ELLE magazine’s July issue and it’s going to give you chills.

The funny ladies of the female-led reboot glammed up for individual covers of ELLE’s first ‘Women In Comedy’ issue and shared a little something about themselves too.

In a sneak peek, Elle revealed something fun about Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Melissa McCarthy.

Here’s a fun fact about each actress:

1. Kate McKinnon is Justin Bieber

The 32-year-old communicates by impersonating others, she said: "I came to a reckoning that pretending to be other people is in fact such a real, huge chunk of the way I communicate.

"I thought it was something I was putting on to disguise something else, but it's not."

2. Kristen Wiig’s SNL fears

While her first show had no effect on her whatsoever, Kristen admits the first sketch she did was terrifying, she said: "I was scared that I was going to freeze or swear or pass out."

3. Leslie Jones is funnier than you think!

The American comedian always knew she was funny and that it was just a matter of time before she got her big break, she told Ben Dickinson: "I just knew that I was funny, and I knew that it was just a matter of time.

"I knew there was no way I was going to be that funny and nobody was going to notice it."

4. Melissa McCarthy knows her characters

The Boss actress admits she has a psychotical relationship with her characters to get people to understand and relate to them, she said: "I fight for them in probably the most annoying way.

"I hear myself saying to Ben or Paul Feig, ‘She wouldn't phrase it that way.’ I know it's such an actory thing, but I feel it to my core: I have to represent the woman I'm getting to be."

And if that’s not enough, the leading ladies also did their own rendition of the Ghostbusters theme song!
