Reese Witherspoon’s daughter Ava to become a debutante

Cape Town – Reese Witherspoon’s 18-year-old daughter, Ava Phillippe is gearing up to make her first public appearance in fashionable society.

Vanity Fair confirms Ava will make her debut at le Bal des Débutantes at the Peninsula Paris hotel on 25 November. She will be one of six American and 20 debutantes in total.

According to E! News the debutante ball was first launched in 1992, by Ophélie Renouard, an typically honours young women from all over the world who come from high profile families.

Each debutante traditionally wears a designer gown and is assigned an escort. Ava will be dressed in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture and will be escorted by Maharaja Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur.

Celebrity daughters including Sophia Rose Stallone, Tallulah and Scout Willis, Autumn Whitaker and Kyra Kennedy have all debuted in previous years.
