Cape Town - Twilight fans will be delighted to hear their favourite heart-throb, Robert Pattinson, is apparently single again!

Rob (31) and FKA Twigs (29) have apparently called off their engagement after they started “drifting apart”.

A source close to the British pair confirmed the news to The Sun.

The Life actor and the singer, who started dating in 2014 and are thought to have been engaged since 2015, have reportedly been drifting apart for the past few months.

“They were almost inseparable for their first two years together but in recent months they’ve really started to drift apart and have been spending less and less time together,” the source told The Sun.

“Rob is tired of it, has called off their engagement and told friends they’ve split. With so much history between them, though, there are still strong feelings there.

“It’s a difficult situation but things have become tough between them for some time and they both know they were no longer working as a couple,” the source said.

According to Hello Magazine, rumours of the break-up started when Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, was spotted without her engagement ring while attending the Christopher Kane show at London Fashion Week.

The pair also haven’t been seen together in public since May 2017.

A few weeks after Twigs was spotted without her ring, Rob told radio host Howard Stern that he was “kind of” engaged.

“It’s one of the most frustrating things in the world. You want to be able to [be more open] but it’s literally like, you get stuck in this position but you have to make this decision whether you want to let the crazy people in,” he said in the interview. .
