Sean Penn's sexy son is our favourite up-and-coming Hollywood star!

Los Angeles - Sean Penn's son is one of Interview magazine's most wanted celebs and we totally understand why!

The 22-year-old is shy and likes to keep to himself but thanks to his good looks, talent and famous father, Hopper Penn is gearing up to take Hollywood by storm!

Here are 5 fun facts Interview magazine taught us about Hopper Penn:

1. Steak

Sean Penn originally wanted to name his son Steak.

The Milk actor tried to persuade his then-wife Robin Wright to give their youngest child a meaty moniker in honour of his love of beef, but the House of Cards star refused.

Hopper revealed: "My dad wanted to name me Steak, the food, because he loves it so much, but my mom was never going to go for it."

Instead they named their son in honour of Sean's "idol", actor Dennis Hopper.

Hopper said: "My name has to do with Dennis Hopper; my dad was friendly with him and idolised him."

2. The Last Face

Hopper never had an interest in being an actor until his father forced him to appear in his latest directorial effort The Last Face, which also stars Javier Bardem and Sean's former girlfriend Charlize Theron.

Hopper told Interview: "Two and a half years ago, my dad was working on his movie called The Last Face, and I asked if I could PA for it. He said, 'No, you're going to act in it.' I said no, because I'm very shy; I didn't know how to act."

However, the motivation of being paid got him to agree to do it in the end.

3. War Machine

Hopper is currently in the post-production of another film called War Machine.

When asked about the film he said: "The experience was fucking intense. Twelve of us play Marines. We got into Abu Dhabi, and the next morning we woke up at five, got our heads shaved, and went to boot camp."

4. Living in LA

Hopper currently lives in LA but would much rather be living in Seattle or New York City.

"I hate almost everything about it... Also, I'm the big fan of rain and overcast weather. So it's either Seattle or New York for me."

5. The future

While Hopper is currently exploring his film acting career, it's not where he sees himself in the future.

When asked what he would ultimately like to do, Hopper answered: "Stage would be my dream. Not Broadway; I don't want to sing. I'd like to do comedies."
