Los Angeles - Sinead O'Connor's children and former partners are "dead" to her.

After slamming kids' fathers, she published another post pleading for her children and family to come visit her and explain themselves.

She said: "Please why are you doing these things to me?? I need you. I need your love. I can't manage what's being done to me...

"Jake, Roisin, everyone. Please. Come and tell me why this is all happening. Come and tell Me I'm loved. Come e and tell.me I'm wanted and cherished. Why did you leave before I woke?

Police were called to Sinead's aid after she posted a worrying Facebook message on Sunday, and she was found safe and given medical attention.

In the post, the 48-year-old singer claimed she had checked into a hotel in Ireland under a different name and had overdosed.

She also told how she had been "howling, crying for weeks" and insisted she "doesn't matter a shred to anyone" and that her family wouldn't notice for weeks if she ended her life.
