Cape Town – Taylor Swift is kicking 2018 off as the cover star of British Vogue’s January issue.
The Shake It Off hitmaker made a vengeful come back in August when she released the first single off her hit album, Reputation.
Since then Taylor has released the album as well as more singles including …Ready For It?, Gorgeous and Call It What You Want.
The theme for the magazine’s fresh start is #NewVogue and sees Taylor don the cover in a blood-red Saint Laurent dress by Anthony Vaccarello.

Along with her seductive cover, Taylor introduces the #NewVogue with a 12-page shoot, photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
“For me, the chance to help transform America’s most fascinating sweetheart was a joy,” said editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, who styled the 27-year-old for the shoot.
He added: “What struck me most about Taylor was her brilliant sense of humour, but also how, for a woman in her twenties, she has an incredible sense of who she is.”
