The visit came after Delaney's mother Wendy Campbell revealed the teen's cancer "had made the jump to her head" and she is being admitted to a hospice following radiation treatment.

They made a video asking Taylor to meet Delaney and were thrilled when she granted their wish.

Wendy wrote on Facebook: "So this just happened. Thank you Taylor Swift for the best Christmas present ever. TaylorMeetDelaney (sic)."

And Taylor is not Delaney's only famous fan, Ellen DeGeneres also shared a video of the youngster on her Facebook page and wrote: "Delaney has been fighting cancer for a long time, always with the most amazing spirit. She recently entered hospice care. She's in my thoughts. I hope you'll keep her in yours."
