Cape Town – ICYMI Beyoncé dropped a new visual album in the form of a film called Lemonade on Saturday night and it is life!
But apart from being absolutely awesome, fans have noticed there may be a hint of confession in Bey’s new music.
One track that is making waves in particular is Sorry.
The tune is filled with brutally honest lyrics like "Looking at my watch, he shoulda been home / Today I regret the night I put that ring on" and "He always got them fucking excuses / I pray to the Lord you reveal what his truth is".
But the main line that’s got fans convinced Jay Z cheated on Queen Bey is: "He only want me when I'm not there / He better call Becky with the good hair."
Now, who in the world is Becky with the good hair? Well, thanks to social media the Beyhive thinks it’s fashion designer Rachel Roy, who some have easily confused with celebrity chef Rachel Ray.
The 42-year-old shared a picture on Instagram shortly after Bey released Lemonade, with the caption: "Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. Live in the light #nodramaqueens."
Coincidence? We think not!
And because you can’t get anything past the Beyhive, Rachel’s Instagram was soon flooded with lemon and bee emojis causing her to delete the post and make her account private.
She also tweeted this:
Which didn’t sit well with the Beyhive either.
Here are what some of them had to say about her statement:
If you’re still confused, Rachel is the reason Solange and Jay got into that elevator altercation in 2014. Solange was reportedly defending her sister because she didn't like the close relationship between Jay and Rachel.
We’ll just let that stew for a while.
