The celeb wedding we've been waiting for is finally happening!

Los Angeles - Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have kicked off their wedding weekend with a beach bash.

The couple welcomed their loved ones to Florida on Thursday with a cocktail party on a private beach at The Breakers Palm Beach.

350 to 400 people have been invited to the wedding - which will take place on Sunday , including Sofia's Modern Family co-stars Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ariel Winter and a number of Pittsburgh Steelers players.

Sofia's 23-year-old son Manolo will reportedly walk his mother down the aisle.

Sofia previously said that the pair are pulling out all the stops for their guests.

She said: "I want a wedding where the guests are going to have fun...It's about creating memories that you're always going to cherish. That's what's important."

The bride will wear a Zuhair Murad gown for the ceremony and a Mark Zunino design for the reception.

Sofia has also joked that she has been "beyond" a control freak when it comes to details about the wedding.

She said: "I think I am beyond that. I am very detail-oriented so I am kind of like a nightmare. I have a very good memory.

"If you show me swatches of things, I can in two months exactly remember, 'What happened with the one with the little border that had the little print?' I'm like, really bad."
