The first pic of Beyoncé's twins is here!

Cape Town – Beyoncé has finally shared the first photo of her newborn twins.

The Sorry hitmaker shared a picture of herself cradling the twins while standing in front of a floral backdrop similar to the theme of her pregnancy announcement.

In the caption Queen Bey confirmed the birth date as well as the names of her newly born babies.

Beyoncé announced her and JAY-Z are expecting twins via Instagram on 1 February, with a beautiful photograph.

Following the announcement the couple remained mum about details of the twins including Bey’s due date, their sex and their names.

Throughout Bey’s pregnancy rumours about the sex of the babies spread.

At first everyone was convinced the Formation hitmaker hinted that she was having boys. However, around the time of Beyoncé’s due date, the Beyhive were convinced Barack Obama hinted that the twins were in fact girls.

News that Beyoncé had given birth broke on Sunday, 18 June. According to reports Bey and JAY-Z were spotted at the hospital in Los Angeles on Thursday, 15 June. 

We now know that the twins were born on Tuesday, 13 June.

The famous couple remained silent and out of the spotlight following the birth of their babies. That was until JAY-Z dropped his new album 4:44 on Friday, 30 June, which many have said is a reply to Bey’s Lemonade.

Never-the-less Beyoncé celebrated Sir Carter and Rumi’s first month in the world by sharing them with the world.
