This is how Kim Kardashian West escaped after being robbed

Cape Town – Five armed men threatened their way into the Paris building Kim Kardashian West had been staying in for Paris Fashion Week on Monday morning.

Two of the men forced their way into the 35-year-old’s private apartment, held her at gunpoint, gagged her, bound her by her hands and feet and locked her in the bathroom before making away with more than $10m worth of jewellery.

Kim escaped "badly shaken but physically unharmed". This is how she did it:

E! News confirmed Kim’s friend and stylist, Simone Harouche, was in the building at the time of the robbery and managed to lock herself in a downstairs bathroom.

According to a source, "Simone texted Kourtney Kardashian and Kim's bodyguard (who was with Kourtney at the time of the robbery).

"She couldn't dial 911 from her phone."

After the robbers had left, Kim made her way to Simone and told her to jump off a balcony to escape.

They were ultimately rescued shortly thereafter when police arrived.

Kim was reportedly very helpful and gave a full statement before returning back to New York with Kanye and her mom, Kris.
