Cape Town – There is a Halloween costume based on Kim Kardashian West’s haunting robbery and people are very angry about it.
Kim was robbed at gunpoint on 2 October. Two robbers reportedly bound her by her hands and feet and locked her in a bathroom wearing only a robe before stealing over $10m worth in jewellery.
A week later a costume company advertised a Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume Kit for Halloween it created, based on the robbery.
Following its release on Costumeish’s website, people have voiced their disappointment in the review section and on Twitter.

Of the costume, Costumeish Vice President Johnathon Weeks told Buzzfeed, “I’m sad that people are offended by it, but it is Halloween: it’s one day out of the year. “Halloween should be a light-hearted, spirited party and people should be able to laugh at it and think it’s funny. We haven’t sold any yet, if that matters.”
