Cape Town – According to reports, Tom Hardy became a modern day hero when he chased down two teenagers involved in an accident with a stolen motorcycle.
It’s true! Witnesses told The Sun the entire scene was like something out of a movie as Tom “switched to superhero mode” and sprinted through gardens and across a building site after the culprits.
The accident occurred in Richmond, South London. Another witness told The Sun the 39-year-old must have been walking in the road and seen the accident. After catching one of the thieves, Tom is believed to have pat him down for weapons and said: “I caught the cunt.”
E! News reports Scotland Yard did not confirm Tom was the one to catch the guys but in a statement on Tuesday said it was a member of the public who caught the driver of the motorcycle. The second guy was caught by police nearby.
It’s no surprise Tom Hardy went into beast mode with such ease, the Mad Max actor has an entire repertoire of action movies that could contribute to his knowledge of what to do in such situations.
