Cape Town - The superstar rapper has drawn praise after stopping his own performance to call out a man who was ‘groping’ female concertgoers.
In the clip, which was shared by one of the fans, Drake can be seen performing in front of a large audience at his after-party in Sydney, Australia.
Abruptly, he stops the music and tells fans he has something to say.
He points into the crowd at a male fan who was apparently groping girls and tells him to stop touching women – or else…
"If you don’t stop touching girls," Drake says towards the end of the clip, "I will come out there and f*ck you up."
The crowd can be heard going wild after Drake threatens the fan but the Canadian hunk doesn’t stop there.
After the fan seemingly wants to reply to the rapper’s threat, the 31-year-old star reiterates what he first said, only this time, he seems angrier.
"If you don’t stop putting your hands on girls, I’m gonna come out there and f*ck your ass up."
After calling out the fan, Drake got back to his performance.
Given the stories that have unfolded in light of the recent Harvey Weinstein scandal, it’s great to see a mega superstar like Drake taking a stand!
