WATCH: Ellen DeGeneres accidentally crashed a scooter on TV

Cape Town – Ellen DeGeneres is the queen of pranks but even her practical jokes can turn into an epic fail sometimes.

Ellen and Zach Braff raced one another on scooters in April, the video worked out great but Ellen’s scooter adventure didn’t end there.

The show host revealed on Monday that following the safe race, things went south.

Ellen thought it would be funny to ride the “jazzy” into the studios and pretend to “run over Andy” but her plan failed when she accidentally lost control and narrowly avoided riding into innocent bystanders.

Fortunately no one was injured and instead nervously laughed off Ellen’s failed prank.
