WATCH: Joshua Jackson talks about having sex for a living

Los Angeles - Joshua Jackson admitted that having sex for a living isn't always the easiest job to have.

Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the 37-year-old hunk told Ellen that he finds it really "awkward" peeling off his clothes in front of the production staff and cameramen.

He explained: "You're emotionally naked, physically naked, all sorts of naked. It's one thing for the guys, its awkward certainly. But for women, it puts women in a particularly vulnerable space, so there's all of that stuff that goes into those scenes that you have to work through.'

And the conversation between him and his co-stars prior to shooting the sex scenes aren't any easier.

He added: "Then there's just the weirdness of a job, a profession where you're like, 'Hi, my name is Josh, we're going to get naked and then we're going to have sex and then we're going to talk about how it feels afterwards. Is that cool?"

Aside from the awkward situations on set, Joshua admitted his long-time girlfriend Diane Kruger prefers him to look really bad during his raunchy sex scenes.

The Affair star admitted the blonde beauty still struggles to watch her handsome beau get frisky between the sheets with another woman on camera.

He explained: "I go home and I'm like, 'Babe, I had a great day today. I had sex with two different women and I felt like it went really well...'

When asked if Diane prefers him to look "sexy" on camera, Joshua said: "I think she's a little conflicted on that. She's okay if I look a little schlubby ... Keep the good stuff at home."
