WATCH: Justin Bieber awkwardly shows off his Selena Gomez Tattoo

Cape Town – Justin Bieber is the March cover star of GQ magazine and of course he looks smoking hot, but we already know that.

What you may not know is that GQ had him reveal the meaning behind some of his tattoos, including the one of Selena Gomez’s face that actually looks nothing like her… #Awkies!

In a video, the Biebs appears shirtless (yum) and picks a couple of his favourites, which is actually really cute because a few of them are tributes to his mother.

But then he gets to the one that everyone has questioned. Pointing to his wrist Justin says: "Uh this is my ex-girlfriend. 

"So I kinda tried to cover her face up with some shading, but people still know."

We also learn that lower back tattoos are a no, no and more specifically that Justin does not approve of David Beckham’s lower back tattoo.
