Cape Town - Cheryl, is that you?
Sian Teesdale (28) has been a super fan of Cheryl since she was a teenager and claims she’s been stopped by dozens of people over the years who’ve noticed the uncanny similarities between them.
Some people don’t even believe her when she says she isn’t Cheryl Cole!
With her long, dark hair, huge white smile and slim frame, it's no wonder she's seen as the pop star's doppelganger.
Sian, who actually dresses up as a real life Disney princess and has her own children’s party business, Fairytale Moments, says the kids usually think they recognised her from the X-Factor.
But it was her husband Lee (33) who first noticed her at a local bar because of her uncanny resemblance to the former Girl's Aloud singer.
"I love dressing up and looking like Disney princesses and it's always strange when people think I look like Cheryl while I'm in character.
“I'm a huge fan of hers and it’s always such a compliment when someone says I look similar to her but I'll always be my own person.
"We were even pregnant at the same time together last year which I thought I was nice,” Sian said.
The photo of her wearing the cap has received a lot of attention and some people have made claims that its Cheryl and not her.
"Despite the amount of people saying I look like her I couldn't be a full time lookalike as I'm too busy enjoying my business.
"And I love dressing up as Disney princesses too much to give up on children's parties.”
"It's seeing the kids' faces light up when they see their favourite character that makes it all worthwhile.”
It's evident from Sian's photos she doesn't need to 'dress up' for people to think she looks like Cheryl Cole
"On a recent night out I was told I looked like Cheryl a lot. I never try to look like her on purpose but people always tell me we're very similar.”
Despite her resemblances to Cheryl, Sian's main passion in life is being a good role model to all the children she meets – some who are terminally ill – while being a Disney princess.
"I love meeting children from all backgrounds, I'm just an ordinary girl who’s trying to put smiles on the faces of so many children."
