Zayn Malik likes his LP title so much he got a tattoo of it!

Los Angeles - Zayn Malik has had the name of his debut solo album tattooed on his arm.

The 23-year-old pop heartthrob dropped his new single Pillowtalk on Friday and his LP Mind Of Mine, is to be released on 25 March on the anniversary of his decision to quit One Direction and go it alone.

To mark the momentous occasion in his career, Zayn decided to get a permanent memorial to the record inked on his arm and he has also added to his extensive tattoo collection by getting a design on his leg.

Speaking to radio DJ Dave Berry on the Capital London Breakfast Show, he revealed: "I just got a tattoo on my leg and my arm, I did them both in the same session. I got a tattoo for the album: the name of the album."

The tattoo on Zayn's leg is more "weird" and features a man smoking.

He added: "The thing on my leg, it's kind of weird, it's an outline of a dude smoking which is pretty mega."

Zayn has over 45 tattoos on his body and they include a revolver handgun on his left hip, a huge snake on his right shoulder and a tiger on his upper left arm.

The singer got a tattoo tribute to his ex-fiancée, Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, on his right arm in 2013 when they were together and the inking can be seen on display in his video for Pillowtalk - in which he is seen kissing his new girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
