Oscar's off the hook

The assault charges against paralympic champ Oscar Pistorius have been dropped due to a lack of evidence. Although he must be thanking his lucky blades that this ugly mess is over, he is considering taking legal action against the SAPS. Oscar told heat, "I should have never been arrested", and the police have apologised to Oscar, but sorry just doesn't cut it I guess.

Last month, 19-year-old Casseby Taylor Memory accused Oscar of assaulting her at a party.  He was arrested, told to remove his shoes and spend the night in jail. heat magazine reports that the teen "was shown the door at a braai at Oscar’s Silverlakes house on 12 September. The star athlete had asked the teenager to leave after she became abusive to other guests, and she then kicked the door so hard that a panel fell out and hit her in the leg. She claimed that the slight injury sustained was the result of Pistorius assaulting her." D-rama!

Silly girl couldn't handle rejection and now she just looks like a gold digging wannabe. Or Oscar's career and reputation just got a lucky break thanks to a typically inadequate police investigation. Hmmm... what do you think?
