Retired Amanda Bynes was once a funny kid

So the big unimportant news of the week is that 24-year-old former child actress Amanda Bynes has retired because she doesn't love acting anymore. How do we know this? The same way we know everything these days - Twitter.

She tweeted: "If I don't love something anymore I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it".

The thing is, she was pretty damn funny! Here's footage of her at age 10 performing at Comedy Camp (don't ask).  Check out Arsenio Hall in the intro!

Cute, right? Maybe she's just one of those actors, like Gary Coleman or Frankie Muniz, who can't make the leap from child star to working adult.

So what's next? A new line of bandage dresses designed by Mandy B? A single? Oh wait, she's done that too. Well, with her bulging CV it's no wonder she feels like there's nothing left for her to do.

How much are we betting that she'll be back in her own reality show in 2012, huh huh?
