Ryan Phillippe is in Johannesburg to film The Bang Bang Club, a real life drama about four Apartheid photographers who were active within the townships of South Africa during the years running up to the country’s first democratic elections in 1994.Also starring in the film is Malin Akerman (Watchmen), and Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights). The team has been filming in Soweto for the past few weeks.What is with all the South African stories making it onto film lately?
