Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin are married.
The True Blood co-stars – who have been engaged for a year – got married on Saturday evening in California.
According to Us Weekly magazine, the couple – who have been dating since filming the pilot episode of the vampire drama in 2007 – exchanged vows beneath a tent at a private residence across the street from the beach in Malibu.
Guests included actor Elijah Wood and the pair’s fellow True Blood co-star Carrie Preston along with her husband, Lost actor Michael Emerson.
British star Stephen – who portrays vampire Bill Compton to Anna’s Sookie Stackhouse – recently admitted he decided to propose to the TV beauty because it would be ‘ridiculous’ to keep calling her his girlfriend.
Stephen – who has two children, Billy, 10, and Lilac, eight, from previous relationships, but has never been married before – said: "It got to the point where I just was thinking, 'You are calling somebody who you intend to stay with for the rest of your life your girlfriend".
They are a really well-suited, cute couple, and we hope this bodes well for Bill and Sookie's relationship.
