The Mandoza Files: "It wasn't me"

The plot thickens in Mandoza's latest motoring misdemeanour.

To catch up, read the original article on Mandoza's Sunday morning car crash here.

News24 reports that it's suspected that Mandoza wasn't behind the wheel of the Mini Cooper that crashed in Weltevreden Park on Sunday. The Honeydew police station has opened a case of reckless and negligent driving against the suspected owner of the car. He has not been identified in this report, but Times reported yesterday that Nkululeko Bobo Ncube claimed ownership. Hmmm... something's not ayoba about this.

Police spokesperson Edna Mamonyane said that 'the owner' arrived at the scene of the accident "reeking of alcohol". Another police officer then went to interview Moandoza at the hospital, and claimed that he didn't reek of alcohol. Guess the nose knows, hey?

So whodunnit? Has Mandoza been framed due to his bad driving record? Or is this an elaborate ploy to keep his rap sheet from being further soiled?

Who's side are you on?

It seems the police believe Mandoza when he says "It wasn't me".
