Valentine's Day with an FHM Model

2010-02-12 11:13

The FHM Models 2010 finalists dish the dirt on what they'll be up to this Valentine's Day.

Tanique Echardt (26) from East London
"I’ll be working Saturday evening at a bar in Stellenbosch, so I’ll probably just spend a chilled day with my boyfriend (a student) on Valentine’s Day. We’ll probably go to Camps Bay and enjoy a couple of cocktails while taking in the beautiful scenery".

Linda Botha (25) from Cape Town
"I will be spending some quality time with my mom who just moved down from Namibia (permanently). No other romantic plans unfortunately".

Nikita de Faria (23) from Boksburg
"I’m actually making Valentine’s Day all about my boyfriend this year as I’ll be taking him for lunch. Instead of a big gift, I’ve decided on a thoughtful present – it will be an enlarged cupcake with a personal message on it".

Naomi Das (25) from Johannesburg
"I have no plans as my boyfriend will be in Las Vegas for a conference. So I’ll spend the day feeling sorry for myself. But he’ll be back on the 15th again, so we’ll celebrate Valentine’s Day a bit later than the rest of the world".

Clarise de Villiers (18) from Henties Bay, Namibia
"I’m actually in the Eastern Cape in Port Alfred at the moment – doing an adventure course. We are doing everything from skydiving to deep sea diving to bungee jumping. So let’s just say my Valentine’s Day is going to be one big adventure".

Leandie Brandt (20) from Langebaan
"We’ll, I’m single...but I have received a lot of “will you be my Valentine?” requests already... I’m hoping something special will happen on the day".

Raquel O’Donoghue (21) from Johannesburg
"This Valentine’s Day I am being spoiled and treated to a romantic candle-lit dinner, and the movie “Valentine’s Day” – as well as a massage! And the rest I am told is a surprise from my boyfriend".

Celeste Stanley (28) from Johannesburg
"I’m actually heading to my home town (Nelspruit) as my family still lives there. I want to spread the love and see as many people as I can, so my plan is to visit all the clubs in the area. A local reporter will also be following me around to capture all of this. There is also a local Nelspruit artist who wants to do a painting of me, and I’ll be attending a gig in the area where I’ll be sharing the stage with Prime Circle. Then in between all this I’ll also be attending my brother’s child’s christening before heading back to Jozi for a rehearsal for a fashion event. It’s going to be a busy weekend, but I’m planning to spread as much love as I can! Ha Ha!"

Philippa Muller (19) from Cape Town
"I’m single at the moment as I just don’t have time for a boyfriend. But I’m taking a close friend of mine for sushi – it will be her first experience of this meal. Afterwards we might head to Kirstenbosch for a concert there".

Charne Jade Slee (27) from Johannesburg
"My boyfriend and I will start the day by having breakfast at one of our favourite local restaurants. We’ll then just see where the day takes us from there... but we’ll be spending the day together, enjoying each other’s company".
