Parkland,Pompeii and The Book Thief
Cape Town - We just can't keep up with the magnitude of magnificent new movies hitting the big screen soon. Especially ones that seem as awesome as these trailers make them look.

Here is the three latest "too hot to handle" movie trailers that has us doing this:

Excited Amy Adams

1) Parkland:

One of the most important moments in American history, the assassination of President John F Kennedy is still a very sensitive issue for the US. In this new look at the tragic event, director Peter Landesman focuses on the events at the hospital where Kennedy was taken after the shooting and its affect on various people.

It stars Zac Efron, Marcia Gay Harden, Paul Giamatti and Tom Welling.

2) Pompeii:

Our favourite Game of Thrones hottie Kit Harrington stars in this retelling of the disaster that wiped out the entire Pompeii city, from the perspective of a slave trying to get back to the doomed city to save the people he loves. (As a bonus Harrington is not wrapped in enormous furs and shows some serious six pack)

It will be coming out next year and also stars Emily Browning and Kiefer Sutherland.

3) The Book Thief:

The critically acclaimed book and The New York Times Best Seller by Markus Zusak has been adapted by Brian Percival for the big screen. The story follows a young girl whose adoptive parents hide a Jew during the Nazi reign. She copes with her circumstance by stealing various books and sharing them with her loved ones.

In the book, the story is narrated by Death, and although the trailer makes no mention of Death, the author posted on his blog that the character will indeed narrate the story, but the actor who plays him remains a mystery.

Stars Geoffrey Rush, Emily Watson and Sophie Nélisse.
