2009 MTV Movie Awards Winners

You know you're not in Oscars territory when Zac Efron beats Christian Bale in a Best Actor category, and Twilight, a movie with more box office weight than real bite, walks away with five awards at the end of the night, beating off stiff competition from Slumdog Millionaire and The Dark Knight.

But that's precisely what happened at the MTV Movie Awards, held on 31 May, where young Hollywood comes out to celebrate the biggest and brightest (if not the bestest) the world of movies had to offer over the last year.

Here are the nominees and winners, who were awarded with a bucket of golden popcorn as their prize.
