1. WALL STREET
In the 1987 movie, Charlie Sheen starred opposite Oscar-winner Michael Douglas as Bud Fox, a cocky young stockbroker who lives on the edge. Sound familiar? The movie portrayed the rapid, almost inevitable, corruption of a promising talent, and the parallels with Sheen’s real life 20 years later are startling. Its tale about fraudulent bankers and traders is as relevant today as well, and a sequel, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, was released in September 2010.
