1. The Tribe
This local film by Charlie Vundla sees an acerbic university professor try to rebuild his life after his wife leaves him for another man. – Grethe Kemp
2. Kalushi
Well directed and heart-rending, this local film centres on apartheid struggle icon Solomon Mahlangu. – Sihle Mthembu
3. Kong: Skull Island
Though not as good as its predecessor, Skull Island boasts great acting and a fast-paced story. – Rotten Tomatoes
