Paris – While they may play opposites in the movie Maleficent, Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning were all smiles at the Paris press conference.

The actors are in Paris to promote the movie, set for release on 6 June.

The new movie explores the untold story of Disney's most iconic villain from the classic Sleeping Beauty and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone.

Jolie stars as the villian Maleficent and Fanning as sleeping beauty, Aurora.
