6 new movies to catch in cinemas this weekend

Cape Town – After 35 years the sequel to Ridley Scott's popular sci-fi film Blade Runner hits the big screen. 

In Blade Runner 2049 it's thirty years after the original film. 

A new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), goes on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), who’s been missing for three decades.

There's a lot to see at the cinema this weekend: Robert Pattinson in a fast-paced grimy crime thriller, a romantic comedy based on a true-life love, a popular kids cartoon gets a big screen remake, the sequel to Al Gore's climate change documentary and a horror film that will scare teens.
