Los Angeles - Angelina Jolie is set to reprise her role as Evelyn Salt for Salt 2.
The Oscar-winning actress is in talks to play the CIA agent again in the much speculated sequel after Sony Pictures commissioned writer Kurt Wimmer to press ahead with a screenplay.
According to Deadline.com, Angelina wants to do the Salt sequel if it comes together in the right way.
'Explore the world'
Angelina has always been open about wanting to do a sequel because she thinks there is more to discover from her character.
She said: "I'd love to do a sequel. You never know if you're going to get the chance, if audiences are going to love it. But particularly with this character, I think there is so much yet to explore in her life with her - with her family, with coming to terms with who she is in the end, because of the way it's set up, she could be anybody.
"She could be in any country, she could speak any language, and so we have a lot of opportunities.
"As an actress, and somebody who loves to travel, it would be nice to be able to explore the world with her."
