Anne Hathaway leads star-studded cast in epic new flick

Los Angeles - Anne Hathaway is to lead a star-studded cast in The Modern Ocean.

The Oscar-winning actress will appear alongside the likes of Keanu Reeves, Daniel Radcliffe, Chloe Grace Moretz, Tom Holland and Asa Butterfield in the new adventure-drama movie.

FilmNation - the movie distribution firm - previewed the picture, saying: "This epic tale, fraught with danger and intrigue, takes us from the ancient trading houses of Algeria to the darkest depths of the ocean floor."

Meanwhile, Anne has recently been linked with the starring role in the Mary Poppins sequel, while she is also set to appear in and produce new sci-fi comedy The Shower.

The 32-year-old actress - who appeared in the Christopher Nolan-directed Interstellar last year - is to play a crucial creative role in the female-led comedy, which has been written and will also be produced by Jac Schaeffer, who penned the 2009 sci-fi rom-com TiMER.

Anne said: "Schaeffer has written an awesome sci-fi comedy centred around funny, fully dimensional female characters.

"I feel so lucky to be a part of the team that will bring her enormously talented and fresh voice to the big screen."
