Dwayne Johnson

Los Angeles - Dwayne Johnson has revealed plans to film Fast & Furious 6 and its sequel back-to-back have been scrapped.

The action star - who also wrestles in the WWE as The Rock - is reprising his role as US Marshall Luke Hobbs in the two movies but producers have changed their mind about shooting them at the same time.

He told MTV News: "We were going to try shooting them together. It would make sense while we have the same crew and everybody in one place. But I think we're dealing with some weather issues, so from what I know we're going to shoot Fast 6 first, and then worry about Fast 7 a little later."

WrestleMania

Dwayne - who can currently be seen in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island - also revealed the car chase films are going to be set in Europe.

He added: "We're going to be in the UK and we're going to be in Germany."

However, the 39-year-old actor did not reveal which movie is set in which country.

Shooting on Fast & Furious 6 - will will also see Vin Diesel return as as Dominic Toretto - will begin in May.

Dwayne - who is due to compete against John Cena at WrestleMania XXVIII on April 1 - has just finished shooting GI Joe: Retaliation.
