Cape Town - An extended theatrical trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 1 has been released, showing previously unseen footage of a pregnant Bella Swan.
The new two-and-a-half minute trailer opens with the breathtakingly romantic wedding scene and shows Bella and Edward solemnly taking their vows during the ceremony.
Bella’s werewolf friend Jacob is also featured in two scenes in the trailer – one shows him dancing with her at her wedding while softy telling her: "This is how I'll remember you - pink cheeks, heartbeat. You'd think I'd be used to telling you goodbye by now."
Hybrid baby
This is followed by glimpses of Bella and Edward’s idyllic honeymoon and passionate wedding night in Rio de Janeiro.
However, the couple's matrimonial bliss is cut short when Bella discovers that she is carrying a vampire/human hybrid baby that could cause her death.
A sickly, frail looking Bella is shown enduring the excruciating pregnancy before collapsing suddenly.
A further sub-plot is also hinted at – as the wolf pack is threatened by the birth of Bella’s human-vampire child they turn against her while Jacob is shown coming to Bella’s rescue.
Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 1 opens in cinemas on 18 November.
