Blurred Lines babe gets movie role

Los Angeles - Model Emily Ratajkowski has been cast in Gone Girl.

The brunette beauty - who recently starred in Robin Thicke's popular Blurred Lines music video, which has notched up over 175 million views on YouTube - will make her movie debut in 20th Century Fox's adaptation of Gillian Flynn's best-selling novel.

The thrillers centres on the mysterious disappearance of Amy Dunne, played by Rosamund Pike, and her secret double life. Her husband Nick - played by Ben Affleck - is implicated in her disappearance.

Ratajkowski will play Andie, a beautiful college girl who has an affair with Affleck's character.

Oscar-winning director David Fincher will helm the film based on a screenplay by Flynn herself, and A-list actress Reese Witherspoon is producing with Bruna Papandrea through her Pacific Standard production company.

The film's supporting cast includes How I Met Your Mother actor Neil Patrick Harris and actor-director Tyler Perry.

Ratajkowski has been modelling since the age of 14 and is signed by Ford Models. The Blurred Lines stunner has previously had small roles in TV shows New Girl and iCarly.

Gone Girl
will go into production later this year.
