Bradley Cooper wants Hangover 3

Los Angeles - Bradley Cooper would do a third The Hangover film "in a heartbeat".

The 36-year-old actor thinks the comedy film series, which follow a group of pals as they retrace the events of the previous drunken evening - needs to be a trilogy, and he would be open to any scenario director Todd Phillips, who helmed the first two movies, would want to do.

He said: "I hope there is going to be a Hangover 3. I'll do whatever Todd wants to do, he's the best, he's the greatest. And I love those guys and I love my character Phil so I would do it in a heartbeat.

Close it up

"It was the hardest shoot I've ever done but I just love it. There's got to be a trilogy, you've got to close it up."

However, Cooper will be hoping there are no underwater scenes for his character if there is a third movie, because the Limitless star isn't able to do swimming sequences because of a hole in his ear drum.

He added: "I have a hole in my ear drum. I can't scuba dive ever. It's such a bummer."
