Brittany Murphy's last movie to hit the big screen four years after her death

Los Angeles – Four years after her death Britney Murphy will be returning to the big screen.

Something Wicked, Brittany Murphy’s final movie will be released in Oregan on the 4th April and thereafter released nationwide.

According to the producers it is a R-rated thriller about obsession and love gone wrong. The story is about a young couple whose marriage gets sabotaged by a "manipulative, psychotic acquaintance".

The film also stars Shantel VanSanten, John Robinson, Julian Morris and James Patrick Stuart.

Writer and producer Joe Colleran told the New York Daily News that reviewing the footage, seeing her and hearing her voice had been an emotional process.

Murphy passed away in 2009 from acute pneumonia, severe anemia and multiple drug intoxication. Six months later her husband Simon Monjack died and his death was also attributed to acute pneumonia and severe anemia.

Last year her father rubbished conspiracy theory claims surrounding their death, including mould and murder by government spies.
