Cher calls Christina a 'bitch'

Los Angeles - Christina Aguilera and Cher called each other "bitches" on the set of their new movie.

The Not Myself Tonight singer Christina admitted she was worried about meeting the pop icon when she first went on the set of their new film Burlesque but said Cher quickly put her at ease and helped her to get into character.

Christina explained to US TV talk show host Conan O'Brien: "She was really good at making me feel comfortable from day one. She was just very open but she would motivate me as an actor. And this being my first time I absorbed her like a sponge and really observed how she worked.

"She would motivate me off camera by going 'what are you looking at bitch'. She would get me mad intentionally to help me with the scene which shows what an amazing professional she is."

While Cher helped Christina find her anger for their scenes in Burlesque, the pop star shocked the cast and crew when she returned the favour by calling Cher a "bitch".

She said: "I would get her back. There was one scene where she had to get really angry with me so I just shouted 'look at me bitch' and everyone was like OMG Christina just called Cher a bitch'."
