The Dirrty singer has confirmed she will provide a song for the highly anticipated movie starring Jennifer Lawrence, joining Coldplay, who recently released their soundtrack single Atlas.
She wrote on Twitter on Wednesday: "Love the underlying message of @TheHungerGames. We Remain is special new song, its message to my fans & how I connect w/ the movie, alike. (sic)"
The National will also contribute to the soundtrack with a song called Lean.
This isn't the first time Aguilera has lent her vocals to a movie - she previously recorded a cover of the hit Rose Royce song Car Wash for 2004 animated film, Shark Tale.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is Lionsgate's blockbuster follow-up to 2012's smash hit movie The Hunger Games, based on Suzanne Collins' best-selling young adult fantasy novels.
The new film follows Lawrence's heroine Katniss Everdeen and her beau Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) as they adjust to their new celebrity status after winning the Hunger Games in the first film. However, little do they know that they'll be forced to do it all over again in the 75th annual Hunger Games.
The film co-stars Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Donald Sutherland, Stanley Tucci, Elizabeth Banks, Sam Claflin and Woody Harrelson.
